Teaching Award

I don't often talk about Richard's school or everything that he has accomplished on my blog. What he is able to do, on top of having a wife and kids and a calling to take care of, just AMAZES me!  Even though he is ridiculously stressed and busy, he is still my rock and my support. How did I get so lucky again? And I am definitely not the only one who sees how amazing he is. Over Christmas break he found out that he was nominated for a Graduate Associate Teaching Award. This year there were about 100 people nominated and there is a big portfolio you have to submit if you want to be considered for the top prize (including $1500 which I wouldn't complain about!).  It has taken a LOT of work but he finally finished his portfolio today after 30+ hours of writing, editing, and getting recommendations from past teachers and students.  Since there are so many nominated this year, we know the chances of winning are slim but he definitely should win because not only is he an amazing teacher, but he's the hardest worker I know.  There is no bigger stud on campus who deserves it!!
