Mom and Dad got to come visit us and finally meet Brooklyn! We tried Duck Donughnuts where you can build your own doughnut, took them around German Village, went mini golfing, went to a mall scavenger hunt, and had lots of fun. They even brought us fun gifts from Columbia!
Kenna's preschool had a special Daddy Daughter dance. It was really cute to watch them get all dressed up like they were going out on a date. Richard said the dads mostly stood around while the kids all ran around together and danced like crazy but it was still cute and fun. We love our special little girl and can't believe how big she is getting!
Kaylee wanted to have a birthday party this year but she hadn't really made friends at school this year (it was a tough year at school all around. She had a terrible teacher too) and not many friends left in our ward. We decided that inviting just her few close friends would be fun and we did a scavenger hunt at the mall and then bought ice cream for everyone. I think everyone had fun and Kaylee is really good about being flexible.
Happy Birthday sweet Kaylee!
Brooklyn's birthday was definitely more chill. We pretty much just opened presents and Richard took her out to lunch.
She did get this music player (she is definitely our music kid!) with headphones and it was so cute to see her with them on all the time. Although it makes me a little worried for her teenage years when she is also drowning me out with music :)
